Chios
With a rich history stretching back to ancient times, Chios’ mysteries and beauty capture hearts and minds. This ancient island is rumored to be the birthplace of the legendary ancient poet Homer, with the Daskalopetra, or Teacher’s Stone, marking the spot where he taught his students and narrated his poems.
If you discover Chios on foot with us, you’ll weave your way from the black stone beach of Mavros Gialos and its volcanic rocks to the abandoned village of Anavatos. Seeking shelter from the marauding Ottoman troops.
Kos
Rugged white cliffs soar towards the sky, crystal beaches magically appear, and lush green landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see – Kos island is a beauty to behold. Once you step foot on its shores, you can discover a bounty of ancient monuments, pristine beaches, and rustic mountain villages.
Mykonos
The island, according to Greek mythology, was formed by the bodies of giants slain by Hercules. The most recognisable site on Mykonos is the row of immaculate picture postcard white windmills overlooking the water. Every visitor takes that picture. The Old Town has many delightful cafes and tavernas along its winding alleys and time will pass very quickly in these lovely, relaxing surroundings.
Athens
While your tour may be drawing to an end, the tantalizing city of Athens still lies ahead. Delve deep into the city’s side streets, bursting with life and culture. Or, reserve your spot on our incredible excursion to clamber up high to the Acropolis with us for a stunning view of this thriving, cosmopolitan city.
